1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HealthLens, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HealthLens is an iOS application that allows you to browse, visualize, and export your Apple Health data. The App reads data from Apple HealthKit with your permission and provides summaries, trend charts, and export functionality in CSV, JSON, and PDF formats. All data processing occurs entirely on your device.

3. Health Data Disclaimer

HealthLens is not a medical device and is provided for informational purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Specifically:

• The data displayed in HealthLens is not medical advice and should not be treated as such
• HealthLens is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment
• You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information presented in the App
• Data accuracy depends on the sensors, devices, and apps that originally recorded the data in Apple Health

You are solely responsible for your own health decisions. We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from your use of or reliance on data presented in the App.

4. Your Data & Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to how HealthLens is built. All health data processing happens on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to your health data. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

When you use the export feature, the resulting files are shared through the iOS share sheet. You are solely responsible for where you send or store your exported data.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

HealthLens offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions to unlock premium features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

• Payment: All purchases are processed through Apple and are subject to the Apple Standard EULA
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions)
• Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as all transactions are handled through the App Store
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of any changes in advance through the App Store

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use HealthLens only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to circumvent any subscription or access restrictions
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any of its content

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of HealthLens, including but not limited to the design, graphics, text, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of Aman Kumar / Tinkerer Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your health data remains yours. We claim no ownership over any data you access, view, or export through the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

HealthLens is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data displayed will be accurate or complete. Data accuracy depends on the sensors, devices, and third-party apps that originally recorded it in Apple Health.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aman Kumar / Tinkerer Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or data inaccuracy
• Health decisions made based on information displayed in the App
• Inability to access or use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any matter relating to the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aman Kumar / Tinkerer Labs from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aman Kumar / Tinkerer Labs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
